Numbers can be written in many forms, like:

Standard Form

Using digits to write a number.
Example: 35,254

Expanded Form

Using the value of each digit.
Example: 30,000 + 5,000 + 200 + 50 + 4

Word Form

Using words to write a number.
Example: Thirty-five thousand, two hundred fifty-four

Short Word Form

Using digits and words.
Example: 35 thousand, 254
